Job Title: Mechanical Technician – Water & Wastewater Industry

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience in the water and wastewater sector. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment used in STPs, ETPs, RO systems, softeners, and related treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, blowers, valves, piping, diffusers, and rotating equipment.

Support installation and commissioning of new treatment systems and mechanical assemblies.

Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Ensure alignment, lubrication, and calibration of equipment as per SOPs.

Maintain records of service, breakdowns, and spare part usage.

Adhere to safety standards and compliance requirements at project and O&M sites.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in water/wastewater/STP/ETP industry.

Strong knowledge of pumps, piping, rotating machinery, and maintenance tools.

Ability to read technical drawings and follow SOPs.

Good problem-solving skills and willingness to work at field sites.
